Miranda Parker - Lead Drama Facilitator
Miranda is an experienced teacher of the Performing Arts, specialising in acting. She is a creative and committed facilitator who is an expert in directing and producing work with young creatives. Miranda is a co-founder of Dare to Know Theatre, dedicated to bringing new writing and thought-provoking work to northern stages, that challenges ourselves as artists and the audience. The company is committed to making work with and for the local community.
Clare Bennett - Cover Drama Facilitator
Clare Bennett has a background in theatre gaining a BTEC in Performing Arts before continuing to study BA Drama at Northumberland specialising in Community theatre.
Clare went on to tour up and down the country with children’s and youth theatre in education companies Harlequin Theatre and Impact Theatre.
Clare is also an experienced youth theatre facilitator and draws on her training, experience and knowledge of the arts to teach students many techniques and disciplines and to coach them through LAMDA exams.
Clare believes drama is for everyone and is looking forward to helping students develop a passion for performing. As their knowledge and experience of the theatre world develops so too will their confidence, creativity, team work and communication skills.
Whether students wish to pursue a career in the arts or to attend for fun and friendship, the youth theatre will provide life long skills that will be invaluable for all
aspects of future life.
