Workshops
Workshops are run on Saturday mornings and are divided into three age groups:
Mini Stars (ages 6 to 9) - 9 am to 10 am
Midi Stars (ages 10 to 13) -
10 am to 1 pm
Major Stars (ages 14 to 18) -
There are 20 places in each group.
Please note - for production term the Midis and Majors groups are joined together for a three-hour workshop.
What we have planned
This term the Midi and Major Stars will works towards a full production. This includes additional rehearsals and, of course, the three performances, the dates of which are above. There are no additional fees for the extra rehearsals or costumes but we expect full committment to the dates as it is very difficult to rehearse a production when cast members are regularly missing. We may also need to add one or two rehearsals in addition to the dates above depending on how we are getting along towards the end of the term. Students MUST be available for all three performances if they wish to be in the production. If they are not available for the three performances but still wish to be involved in the summer term then they can get involved as part of the crew including lighting, sound, props costumes etc.
The Mini Stars will work towards their own short play which will be performed as a Showback on week 10.
Fees
Fees are collected per term in full and are as follows:
Mini Stars: £40 (£30 second/subsequent siblings)
Midi & Major Stars: £60 (£45 second/subsequent siblings)
Workshops missed for sickness or holidays cannot be reimbursed. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation you will be contacted by email and reimbursed accordingly.

Membership and Future Terms
Once accepted as a member of the youth theatre, students will be enrolled and invoices will be issued automatically for all future terms unless we are instructed otherwise.
We would be grateful if you would let us know as soon as possible if students are not going to attend future terms as this frees up places for new students.
If the invoice is not paid and the student does not attend the first workshop of the term then we will assume that their place is no longer required - unless we have had communication from you that confirms otherwise.
