Playhouse 2 is available for hire to bands, theatre groups, musical groups, schools, businesses and other charities - just about anybody really !
This is why we exist - to bring entertainment and offer entertainment facilities to the local community.
Please be aware that we may need to see you perform before we accept a booking - we have a reputation to uphold!
The Auditorium
153 steeply raked seats, excellent viewing from any angle
The Stage
A large, fully equipped, open thrust stage, which can accommodate a 35 piece band, yet is intimate enough for solo performances
Technical Facilities
A full complement of stage lighting equipment, 48 channel lighting desk, 18 channel sound mixer and full PA system is available for use
Audio/Visual
The auditorium is equpped with a high quality projection system and Dolby 5.1 sound. The projection system can use most media formats including laptops connected directly from the stage. The bar has a 32" HD screen that can display most video formats using a Media Player.
Bar
A pleasant and fully licensed bar offering a full range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks at very competitive prices. Freshly brewed filter coffee and tea always available.
The bar has seating for approx 60 people and a capacity of around 100.
